Nominate a Family

Just Human is a community project that collects, stores, and redistributes curated home goods donations to families impacted by homelessness and/or intimate partner violence. Our work is made possible by the generous donations of others which means that inventory and timelines are variable. Please allow us time to coordinate the family’s set-up so that it is substantial and impactful.

Before you make a referral, do all the below apply? Does the family have a permanent address in Hudson County? 

Is family being serviced by an agency/ case worker? 

Does family have basic need furniture (i.e. bed and dining table)?

Do you have photos of the living space?

Is the family willing to sign waiver for photos of their finished space to be posted on social media and used for promotional services? 

Is family available to give access to living space on Saturday mornings?
